WikiComposer Desktop Version is an easy-to-use music composition practice that seeks to shrink the aggregate of friction that exists between the user's melodic ideas and capturing those ideas. It supports external MIDI devices, and takes a strictly what-you-see-is-what-you-hear solicit to interface design. Most of the editing features that users are commonplace with completely word processors (such as copying and pasting, undoing, etc) are available using the unmodified solicit, so getting started should be clear. An online version (at WikiComposer.com) also exists to grant people to division their melodic ideas.
